Prepping 101 Session 1: “The Pantry” November 2, 2021 at 7:00 pm
What IF the Lights went out? What if your area suffered a Disruption of Services, a Natural Disaster or a pandemic or you experienced a Job Loss? What if you were confined to your home for days or weeks? What if the supply chain was interrupted? So many “what ifs”. Are you prepared?
This is not a doomsday prepper class. This is a common sense beginners class to help you develop a plan and get started to a life of self reliance and therefore be calm in the crisis. Remember we cannot depend on anyone else but ourselves. This is the time to start because “we just never know….”
The class will last 1-2 hours depending on the needs of the participants.
The Zoom Link will be sent to you prior to the class. Class offered by Jill Whitfield, CNM
A reminder from the Bible:
Joseph interpreted the dream that a famine was coming and what the instructions were. They prepared. It does not matter what the disaster might be. It is all a huge problem.
Genesis 41:47-49 NIV
47 During the seven years of abundance the land produced plentifully. 48 Joseph collected all the food produced in those seven years of abundance in Egypt and stored it in the cities. In each city he put the food grown in the fields surrounding it. 49 Joseph stored up huge quantities of grain, like the sand of the sea; it was so much that he stopped keeping records because it was beyond measure.
