Description

Formulated for associated symptoms such as inconsolable crying, painful and swollen gums, sleeplessness and digestive discomfort.

Directions: Children, ages 0 to 11, give 3 drops or pellets orally (ages 12 and up, give 6 drops or pellets) as needed or as directed by a healthcare professional. Under age 2, crush or dissolve pellets in purified water. Sensitive persons begin with 1 drop or pellet and gradually increase to full dose.

According to the Materia Medica the following remedies in Teething~Colic may be administered for the following conditions:

Aconitum napellus: Gums hot and inflamed; Pain in jaws.

Apis mellifica: Gums swollen; Diarrhea; Constipation; Extremely tender abdomen.

Baptisia tinctoria: Teeth and gums sore, ulcerated; Chronic intestinal toxaemias of children with fetid (foul) stools and eructations (belchings).

Belladonna: Toothache better by biting.

Borax: Mouth hot and tender; Crying when nursing; Loose, pappy (mushy) offensive stool in children; Diarrhea offensive, preceded by colic.

Bryonia: Sore mouth of infants; Mucous membranes are all dry.

Calcarea carbonica: Cramps in stomach; Difficult and delayed dentition (teething); Complaints during teething, convulsons without fever.

Calcarea phosphorica: Colic; Delayed dentition (teething); Complaints during teething, convulsions without fever.

Chamomilla: Distress of teething children; Especially of frequent employment in diseases of children, where peevishness, restlessness, and colic give the needful inications; Diarrhea during dentition.

Chelidonium majus: Colic; Right cheek bone feels as if swollen with tearing pain.

Coffea cruda: Colic; Oversensitiveness; Feverish with pain and always ready to weep. Collinsonia canadensis: Colic; Alternate constipation and diarrhea; Constipation of children from intestinal atony (lack of tone).

Colocynthis: Extremely irritable; Pain in stomach with toothache; During colic infant lies on abdomen and screams when he is slightly moved.

Kreosotum: Colic; Ailments of teething children; Children would not sleep unless caressed and fondled.

Magnesia phosphorica: Colic; Severe griping colic pain, at times shooting up toward stomach; Complaints of teething children, spasms during teething without fever.

Scutellaria lateriflora: Colicky pain and uneasiness; Nervous irritation and spasms of children during dentition.

Silicea: Colic, cutting pains with constipation.

Terebinthina: Dentition (teething); Distended abdomen, frequent colic.

Valeriana officinalis: Over-sensitiveness; Child vomits curdled milk in large lumps after nursing; Thin, watery diarrhea, with lumps of coagulated milk, with violent screaming in children.
